This protocol is a brief series of tests used to evaluate a person’s balance, gait, strength, and endurance. A technician provides instructions and demonstrates how to perform each test. The tests include repeated chair stands, balance testing, and a measured walk. During each test, the technician uses a stopwatch to time the person and enters the result on an ordinal scale.
