The Trauma Triage Rule is an adult prehospital trauma decision rule, based on systolic blood pressure, Glasgow motor score, and the presence of penetrating injury of the head, neck, or trunk. Reference: Baxt, W. G., Jones, G., & Fortlage, D. (1990). The trauma triage rule: a new, resource-based approach to the prehospital identification of major trauma victims. Annals of emergency medicine, 19(12), 1401-1406.
